MetaPoint Pre-built VocabulariesSchemaLogic has partnered with WAND to offer pre-built industry-specific vocabularies that can be imported directly into MetaPoint Server. WAND taxonomies provide a starting point to help MetaPoint customers build taxonomies and tagging vocabularies in MetaPoint Server. MetaPoint customers can customize and extend WAND taxonomies with other vocabularies managed within MetaPoint Server. These Vocabularies can be synchronized across user desktops to provide a robust set of industry specific terms used for both tagging content as well as general communication of corporate terminology standards. WAND specializes in developing precise and best-in-class taxonomies covering a wide variety of domains. WAND’s taxonomy library contains more than 40 domain specific taxonomies including 33 different industry vertical packages, jobs, travel, retail, medical and general enterprise search topics with more domains being added on a regular basis. WAND’s taxonomies are available in 11 global languages. WAND taxonomies are used in online yellow pages and local search, ad-matching engines, B2B directories, product search, and within enterprise search engines. MetaPoint customers can order WAND taxonomies pre-loaded into MetaPoint or purchase them as needed through the life of the MetaPoint deployment. |
